Justification:
TW’s K and R Intersection was first constructed in 2008 and reconstructed to concrete in 2016. The average PCI was 65 in 2022. The existing joint seals are beginning to degrade allowing water to enter the joints which damages the concrete surface. Removing and replacing these joints along with performing spot concrete repairs will ensure the hardstands are able to reach the intended design life.
