Justification:
Taxilane Tango is part of the main movement area and serves the runways and tenants. The pavement for TL Tango was last rehabilitated in 2016. The surface contains alligator cracking, rutting, and raveling. The main purpose of this project is to continue providing service to taxiing aircraft. TL Tango had a PCI of 65 in 2022. PCI will be updated when it is inspected again in 2025. A PCI below 55 is considered poor and in need of replacement for a taxiway/taxilane. A PCI below 55 for a taxiway is an indication that a project should be programmed in the short term for rehabilitation. If this project is not implemented, taxilane pavement conditions will degrade to an unacceptable level. The asphalt will continue to deteriorate until the surface cannot support moving aircraft, making the taxilane unusable.
