Estimated Cost:
$2,100,000
Description:
Install an estimated 110 monitors and 110 input stations with associated hardware, software and accessories to provide visual paging throughout the South Terminal, South/North Terminal Connector and North Terminal Lobby. We believe our estimate is accurate. However, due to the volatile bidding environment and to ensure most of the project is completed, the work will be split into a base bid (80 monitors and 80 input stations) and 2 additive alternates (30 monitors and 30 input stations). The two additive alternates will extend visual paging to additional North Terminal and Terminal Connector passenger areas with an estimated 30 monitors and 30 input stations.

Justification:
The purpose of the project is to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance requirements to provide an effective means of communicating with people who cannot hear audible announcements, including pages and gate information. This project allows audible announcement replication through a visual paging system. This project will supplement existing audio and visual gate announcement systems.
