Description:

Apply a seal coat to apron and taxiway surfaces. Project will include select pavement repairs, crack filling and restriping.

Justification:

The Alpha apron was originally constructed in 1989 and rehabilitated in 2015. In 20222 the Alpha aprons average PCI was 92. The Bravo apron was originally constructed in 1988 and rehabilitated in 2015. In 2021 the Bravo aprons average PCI was 82. The Echo apron was constructed in 2003 and 2006 and in 2023 had an average PCI of 68. The Echo taxiway was constructed in 2003 and in 2023 had an average PCI of 65. Historically the PCI drops between 2-3 PCI / year. By the time this project is constructed the average PCI of Alpha apron will be 80, the Bravo Apron will be 70, the Echo apron will be 56 and the Echo taxiway will be 53.
