Description:
Rehabilitate Aircraft and Lakeshore Drive from Voight Circle to the Lake Hood west property boundary south of Runway 14/32. Project includes roadway reconditioning, structural section repairs, drainage improvements, and striping.

Justification:
Drainage facilities have difficulty passing storm flows especially during winter freeze/thaws. Field Maintenance has extended the life of this asphalt by performing preventative maintenance. A pavement rehabilitation project is necessary to prevent a more expensive reconstruction project soon. If this project is not completed the roadway will deteriorate causing potholes requiring more expensive maintenance and possible damage to vehicles using the roadway.
