Justification:
Grant assurances require competitive access and economic non-discrimination. We do not meet these assurances because we are not providing space for hangars and other lease lots, even though this airport has plenty of real estate for this. The high winds and harsh weather make hangar storage critical for aircraft operators.
Notes:
We have letters from aircraft operators stating that they cannot updgrade aircraft because the 90 MPH winds will damage them. They need the hangars so they can buy newer aircraft and serve the outlying communities.
