Description:
The project will resurface gravel operational surfaces including the runway, apron, and segmented circle access to repair differential settlement cracking, soft spots, ruts, and potholes, and provide positive drainage offsite. Construct a new taxilane to the area east of the existing apron and just north of the existing SREB to provide access to potential lease lots. Apply a dust palliative to operational surfaces. Replace undersized, failing culverts and regrade ditches to improve drainage and minimize freeze-thaw effects.

Justification:
The gravel surface course is in poor condition with observations including erosion, varying consistency of gravel and fines content, undesirable depressions and humps resulting in ponding, minimal surface variations, differential settlement cracking, soft spots, wheel ruts, potholes, and an uncompacted surface. Other observations include failing culverts not functioning as intended, ponding due to undesirable low spots, and detrimental effects related to freeze-thaw cycles and poor drainage.
