Justification:
Heavy maintenance is needed at this airport for safety. The airfield lighting system is beyond its useful life (10 years). Funding has been awarded for surface preservation of the operational surfaces. Surface preservation includes preventative maintenance and temporary repairs to address pot holes, ruts, soft spots, and minor subsidence. The last surface maintenance grant was awarded in 2011.
Notes:
Need originated from 12/31/2019 CIP Datasheet.
