Description:
Resurface operational surfaces, replace airfield lighting, and obstruction removal. Heavy maintenance is needed at this airport for safety. The airfield lighting system is beyond its useful life (10 years). In 2008, the runway was extended and the apron was constructed. Funding has been provided for surface preservation maintenance for the operational surfaces since 2008 Surface preservation includes preventative maintenance and temporary repairs to address pot holes, ruts, soft spots, and minor subsidence. The last surface maintenance grant was awarded in 2012.
