Description:

This project will construct a 5-bay SREB with parts storage and office space to replace the 4-bay SREB (also with office and parts storage) that was determined to be a total loss following a roof collapse caused by excessive snow loading.

Justification:

The SREB will be used for storage and maintenance of AIP funded snow removal equipment. Funding will be a mix of AIP, state, and insurance; the amount of funding available from these three sources is unknown at this time, so the standard AIP/sponsor percentages are being used. It is believed that the insurance funding available for the replacement SREB will be in the $3.0 to $3.8 million range.
