Justification:
The Gambell rehabilitation project is a Western District SREB 2017 Upgrade #1 priority. This wood framed building was built in 1999. The interior building needs include a concrete floor, LED lighting, interior paint, and a new heating system. The exterior needs include an overhead door, new siding or painting, and new fuel tanks with security fencing around the tanks. A new EE (electrical equipment) room is being constructed with the current Gambell Airport Pavement Rehabilitation and Lighting Replacement project. A CIMP inspection has not been completed at the Gambell airport and will be scheduled after construction of the upcoming Airport Pavement Rehabilitation and Lighting Replacement project is substantially concluded.
