Justification:
Drainage channels constructed years ago were not properly compacted and have subsided creating gaping cracks in the asphalt surface. The airport is located at the confluence of the Kuskokwim and Takotna Rivers, and is experiencing steady riverbank erosion. Hardening of the riverbank is necessary to protect airport assets.
