Description: Replace rotating beacon. Project Description This project proposes to resurface the the gravel runway, taxiway, apron, and access road. The runway will be upgraded from B-I to A-II standards which results in widening the runway and expanding the safety areas. Improvements include replacement of airfield lighting, markings, signs, and navigational aids.

Justification: August 2021 CIMP Inspection: F: Improper rotations, lighting poor, failed, or improperly aimed. Pilot control/photocell inoperable. Project Justification The runway and taxiway need to be upgraded to match the standards of the current critical aircraft grouping of A-II. The runway and taxiway surfaces contain 6-8” dips throughout, and the south end of the runway is experiencing settlement. The runway and taxiway lighting systems are at the end of their useful life and need to be replaced to maintain reliability for operations during nighttime and inclement weather.
