Justification:
The equipment building at Sitka suffers from salt spray that has caused extensive pitting and corrosion over the years. The proposed work will replace the skin of the building and the bay doors. Corrosion on the doors has progressed to the point that their operation may become questionable. Accomplishing the renovations now will extend the useful life of the building and ensure the adequate operation of the doors
