Noted by Mayor Richard Tuluk cityofchevak_mayor@yahoo.com(summer 2018): We are preparing to build airport infrastructure that will support the incoming and distribution of goods, By- Pass Mail and Freight and provide a safe place for passengers to wait and connect to other communities. This will provide safety for people who are waiting for flights to come in for departure from Chevak.
