Description: Igiugig is located in southwestern Alaska, on the south bank of the mouth of the Kvichak River and Lake Iliamna. It is accessible by water and air. Charter flights are available from Iliamna and King Salmon. The state owns and maintains a gravel runway. A small public dock is available. Barges deliver goods from Naknek or Dillingham in the fall. Igiugig Corporation operates a barge system on Lake Iliamna.
