Description: Tetlin is located along the Tetlin River and the Alaska Highway, about 220 miles southeast of Fairbanks. Tetlin has a state-maintained public airport with a gravel runway in good condition. The village also owns and maintains a turf airstrip. Scheduled and charter flights are available from Tok. Many residents own cars, trucks, skiffs, and snow machines for hunting, fishing, and hauling wood.
